FFfAW-Cold as Ice

We met for a drink at Manny's Bar, like we have been doing for 4 years.

That warmth you use to emit to me from your loving heart kept me close to you and in your arms.

But now, that warmth is no longer there. You are as cold as ice.

Have you found another to keep warm? One who will meet you every Friday night at Manny's Bar until you become cold as ice to her? How long will it take you? Four years? Two years?

Now, our warmth is over and we have become as cold as ice.

Thank you Enisa for our photo prompt this week!

This is my 100 word story for the flash fiction challenge, Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. We are given a photo prompt that is kindly photographed by our participants and approximately 75-175 words with which to create our stories. It's fun and everyone is invited to participate. 1. Nice stream of thought from the narrator. The other person seems to have moved on… I am sure the narrator will find someone too😀👏. Great story PJ!

  2. Excellent flow here. I discovered the idea of writing prompts from my good friend Monna Ellithorpe. She goads me to get clear and churn out those 100 word short stories. All about finding that sweet flow and the words just seem to move on their own.

I would love to read your thoughts...
