FFfAW-My Lucky Penny

“What are you looking for?”

“My lucky penny. I just had it and dropped it.”

“You can always get another penny and make it your lucky one.”

“No, I can't. This is my lucky penny and I have had it since I was a little boy. I can't lose it.”

“Don't be ridiculous. You will never find it in this grass.”

“Look! I have found it! The reason I found it was because it was my lucky penny.”

“Great. Glad you found it.”

“Uh Oh…”

“What's wrong now?”

“I dropped my lucky penny again. Please help me look for it.”

  1. It’s interesting the way we associate luck with a coin. I’m glad he found it the 1st time but the 2nd time I’d reach into my purse and give him one I supposely found. I don’t think he know. LOL
I liked this story, PJ. Nice take on the photo prompt.
    Have a GREAT weekend …

    • Yes, it is strange how we associate luck with a coin. Haha! I agree, when he lost it a second time I would wonder if it were really lucky. LOL! Thank you so much Issy and I hope you have a lovely weekend too!

  2. Lol, very funny PJ!! Had I told you about finding a penny on the ground in front of my bird bath after I posted my post about the penny? Well when I found it I searched all around on the ground for others but there were none…well tonight when I went to bring in the feeders there was another penny on the ground, right near the spot of the first one. Isn’t that something??? Have you put out your feeder yet or is it too soon? ((HUGS!!)) xoxo ☺

I would love to read your thoughts...
