FFfAW-Fire

I stare at the fire as the flames dance around the embers and the glowing fire becomes more and more intense.

I cannot stop watching the fire as it is mesmerizing to me. It takes over all my senses and locks it's bright fiery glow into my eyes.

First, I see the devil jumping around in the flames ready to reach out and pull me in but I fight against him.

As the flames wear down to glowing embers I see the stars sparkling and shining, silently rejoicing that I won against evil and it is now time to live!

  1. Awesome story(?)… The way it’s written, I can hardly tell (read can’t) if it’s meant to be a story or real. Excellent work.

  2. Fire and embers have hypnotizing effect for sure! So glad for the happy end PJ…let the good win over the bad, always.

  3. Great take regarding the dark and light and evil and good Joy. Away from the safety of the fire but too close and you are in hell’s fire. Could easily morph into the tale of Icarus 🙂

  4. I really like this one. You created very visual and emotional images in the fire also frightening. I love the end where e/t is fine b/c evil is defeated. I love this picture too. I’m going to go back and use it for a piece 🙂

  5. The fact that it was published on my birthday is amazing! I had gone through a lot to see that day. Thank you for this!

Also, If you don’t mind. check out my blog, leave an honest comment and follow for more, if you’re interested.

  6. Yay, good wins over evil!! As it should. I could see the devil jumping around in the fire, obviously he was feeling quite at home! 😈

I would love to read your thoughts...
