Adam asked me to meet him for coffee and I gladly did so. I was happy because I thought that meant that he was sweet on me as I certainly was sweet on him.
My hopes were up. Finally! He has noticed me. It was about time!
As soon as I sat down I noticed his sad face.
“What's wrong, Adam?”
“Claudia has left me.”
My heart sank. (Who was Claudia?)
“Will you help me get her back?”
(What was I suppose to say? Sure I will!?)
“Hell No!” I answered.
I then got up and quickly walked out.
Thank you Dawn Miller for our photo prompt this week.
This is my 100 word submission for the flash fiction challenge, Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers. I decided to write something light hearted since it has been a sad two weeks for me. Thank you all for carrying on while I was away. The Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers is a flash fiction challenge that is fun and everyone is invited to participate. We are given a photo prompt and approximately 75-175 words with which we create our stories. For more information, click HERE.
