As soon as Megan hung up the phone, she felt the tears coming. Trying to escape from the pain in her heart, she ran toward the bridge.
“I will end it. I can't live my life without him,” she gasped, trying desperately to regain her breath through the huge lump in her throat.
She came to the bridge and threw herself over the edge.
“I can't live without you!” she cried.
About that time a man was walking by and caught the hem of her jacket.
“What the hell do you think you are doing? he screamed at her.
“I can't… I can't live without him.”
“Live without who?”
“The man I am in love with.”
“Yes, you can and you WILL live without him!”
“Who the hell do you think you are?” Megan asked.
“I am Nolan.”
Megan looked over the edge of the bridge and cried,
“Samuel, You bastard! You don't deserve me!”
Megan forgot about Samuel and lived happily ever after with her new love, Nolan.
