FFfAW-The Birth of White

The ancient Natives say when a white buffalo is born, the earth will welcome in a world where everyone joins together in brotherhood and love.

When a white peacock is born, another wondrous event happens. Fairies are seen dancing in the light of the first full moon.

The children dream of going on wonderful adventures with the fairies to far away lands.

As soon as the sun rises the next morning and the bewitching hours have past, everything goes back to normal, except for the children. The children are completely exhausted from their wonderful magical adventures with the fairies.

  1. The white Peacock fairy tale with wonderful adventures for the children….such a nice and exciting playful time for them. Fairy tales are meant to entertain and let the children expand their imaginations and have belief that magical things can happen…even if it is for just a short period of time. A very nice take on the prompt. πŸ™‚

    • Thank you Jessie! Yes, fairy tales are very magical for children and teaches children that good things can happen and I also believe that it teaches them to expand and use their imaginations. πŸ™‚ Thank you for the wonderful comment.

  2. wonderful wonderful story. I bet if you look very closely, you can see a stray fairy still playing in the plumage of the white peacock. Some fairies can be quite mischievous.

  3. Aw I love this! Very creative and magical!! And perhaps even true!!!
I never read any stories before I do mine I don’t want to be influenced at all.
Beautiful take on the prompt PJ!

  4. I have to tell you how old I really am ha ha . I have been coming to your blog each day waiting for a post!!! I just realized today that you posted, I had seen this photo on other blogs and thought it was you I had visited!! sorry for being late as I love your writing!

  5. So that’s where fairies come from. And although I’ve never seen a white buffalo or a white peacock. I think we could all use one or two of each right now.

    • Yes, I agree! We could all use one right now. I have seen pictures of white buffalo calves (I looked on Google about white buffalos and this is what the Native Americans believe) and the only white peacock I have seen is in this prompt photo.

I would love to read your thoughts...
