Should I or Not?

“Let's meet at the lion.”

“What lion? What lion?”

“The lion at the library.”

“Could I really do this? After all, he is married and I am only separated.”

My heart was sick thinking about this and the consequences that could follow. I still love my husband and maybe there is a chance we could get back together to make our marriage work. What would this do to that possibility? Is one night of excitement worth it? Yes, he is very handsome and would do a lot for my injured ego. Or would it?

“Sorry, but I won't be there.”

Thank you to Al Forbes for our photo prompt this week and for hosting Sunday Photo Fiction. He gives us a photo prompt and approximately 100-200 words with which we create our stories. It is fun and addicting and everyone is invited to participate. For more information, click HERE.

  1. A story that I’m sure a lot of people can relate to. I believe she made the right decision. If there is a chance to repair her current marriage she should at least try. There will always be time for her to go the other way if things do not work out. 🙂

  2. Now, wait a second. How do you know this meeting would end up between the sheets? He might want to meet at the library to get some recommendations about what to read on a lonely night when there’s nothing on TV!

I would love to read your thoughts...
