SPF Challenge-The Black Hole

My mother is constantly screaming at me to clean my room. Hey – I'm a teenager and teenagers don't have clean rooms! She gets mad at me whenever I can't find something. She tells me, “It's probably lost in that black hole you call a bedroom!” So there are a few dirty dishes sitting around. I haven't had time to take them to the kitchen.

I am in my bedroom looking for my homework but can't find it and suddenly this hand grabs my ankle from this black hole that suddenly appears and I yell, “HELLLLPPP!!!”

  1. Great take on this prompt, Joy! LOL’s We’ve had lots of things to disappear down the black hole over the years, and have been fortunate enough to escape the hole’s grip on us. πŸ™‚

  2. Love this. It reminds me of my youngest brother’s room when he was at home ( probably still messy in his room in his house). My Dad hates it so much when I went on disability he paid me to clean my brothers room every couple weeks and charged Nathan. Yes, no one knows about that scary black hole. Great story

  3. Cute and amusing πŸ™‚ Laughed at the end…glub glub. Teenagers nowadays have even lesser time, what with social media keeping them absorbed. Like it keeps us absorbed too πŸ™‚ often at the cost of household work.

  4. Ha! Looks like she does have a black hole in her room. My mom used to say that about my room all the time. Guess I should look around, make sure nothing will grab me and drag me into the darkness! Great little tale!

  5. Yep… I think we’ve all had ’em. Those types of rooms. One of my children had one too!

Thanks for your support of Dragon – She’ll be back sometime since y’all like her so much πŸ˜‰

  6. Hahaha. This reminds me of my own room– which I refuse to call cluttered. It’s my own version of an ‘organized room’. But I definitely wouldn’t want someone grabbing me by the hand all of the sudden. That’s a scare! Nice story PJ. πŸ™‚

I would love to read your thoughts...
