“I see absolutely everything.” The west wind said when it was arguing with the east wind.

“You’re wrong, I can see everything,” the east wind responded.

The north wind piped in and said, “You are both wrong, I can see everything!”

But the south wind was not going to be outdone, “You are all fools! I am the only one that can see everything!”

“Only I can see absolutely everything.” Said the mountain as it stood tall and proud.

Suddenly, the sun rose over the top of the mountain and shined brightly.

The four winds and the mountain all felt foolish because they realized it was only the sun who could see absolutely everything.

  1. PJ, loved your tale. Sounds like some sibling rivalry going on until the sun (mom) shows up. Good take on the prompt. πŸ™‚

  2. The vision of the sun is eternally warming and taming the winds raging force for all-seeing dominance ~ What a great slant on the prompt Joy! I love your intuitive writing πŸ™‚

  3. Lovely fable, P.J. – useless where I live, because it’s always windy and the sun hardly ever comes out from behind the cloud – but I still like the story. πŸ™‚

  4. Hi there Joy, very glad you stumbled upon my little crazy story.
These stories of you IΒ΄ve been reading are great, a well written and great creative mind you have. Liked this one very much, was fun and smart. The other one was also very good, it was touching.

I would love to read your thoughts...
