Unresolved

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “To Be Resolved.”

We’re entering the final days of 2014 — how did you do on your New Year’s resolutions these past 11.75 months? Is there any leftover item to be carried over to 2015? The Daily Prompt 12/22/14

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Years have taught me not to make New Year’s Resolutions. Seems they are made only to be broken a few days or a few weeks after. Therefore, I have no unresolved resolutions.
For those who make resolutions and keep them throughout the year or until they are fulfilled, I am happy for you. You have a resolve that most of us do not have.
I do have hopes and dreams for the new year ahead and I look forward to making those hopes and dreams come true. Hopefully, the powers that be will smile upon me and my home will sell for the price I need to move where I want to move.
I look forward to blogging on WordPress and meeting new people, learning a great deal from all the intelligent and brilliant bloggers, seeing all the incredible photographs, and hanging out with the coffee and tea drinkers and wine sippers. I guess what I am saying, is I look forward to a wonderful and bright year 2015 hanging out with you.
I would also love to win the lottery. But, of course, I would need to play.
  1. Hi Joy, I don’t make resolutions either, I wish many things and I try to focus on them, the lottery is a great idea, I should focus on it, the only problem is I don’t buy lottery tickets! ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. I make resolutions all the time. Probably every three weeks- many are repeats. Keeps me moving forward toward something. I have many friends that make none… they find me “different”?
  3. Your goals are wonderful; I also adore the simplicity of them. It’s also wise of you to not make New Years’ Resolutions. I can relate, because most of them barely last the month. ๐Ÿ˜‰
    I hope you have a fantastic 2015! โค
I would love to read your thoughts...
