Glass

Photography 101 – Photograph Looking Through Glass

These photos were taken looking through a cut glass bowl.

I used different light sources. I think it would look amazing

if there was a Christmas Tree lit up behind it.

  1. I didn’t realize that the assignment was Glass until I saw your post 🙂 The geometric patterns are amazing — like a kaleidoscope. My favorite is the second picture: I feel pulled down into the center of the bowl. Looks like I’ll have to wash something crystal tomorrow.

      • I love looking at your work! Thank you for posting.
I didn’t sign up for NaNoWriMo, partly because BIG things scare me and partly because this is the busiest, longest, hardest time of year for me. Unless they make a NaNo in March, I doubt I could do it. Or maybe when I retire.
Many people think I am doing NaNo because I keep posting parts of the Ann story. That’s just for me. Whisper has encouraged me to do Longform in December. Terrifying! 🙂

        • I think that is why I thought you were participating in the NaNoWriMo, but like you, that is way to scary for me! Besides, I don’t have that much to say. LOL I think you will do great in WordPress’s Longform. I am waiting til January to take Writing 201.

  2. Your photos are awesome! Glass is such a good material to work with because it can be used in many ways – clever of you to look through the bowl, and with the lighting, it brought to life all the little facets of the bowl. I really like these – you didn’t miss the purpose of the assignment – you nailed it!

I would love to read your thoughts...
