Que Sera, Sera

This morning, I was sitting here waiting for the Realtor to come to my home, hopefully to list my home for sale. As I was thinking about moving, suddenly, an old song came to my head – one that I use to sing often when I was young:

Que sera, sera

When I was just a little girl I asked my mother What will I be? Will I be pretty? Will I be rich? Here's what she said to me:
Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.
When I grew up and fell in love I asked my sweetheart What lies ahead? Will we have rainbows day after day? Here's what my sweetheart said:
Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.
Now I have children of my own. They ask their mother, What will I be? Will I be handsome? Will I be rich? I tell them tenderly:
Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be.
My kiddos and kidletts live in Phoenix, Arizona and I would like to move there. However, it won't be easy for me to move that far.

I'm not sure I will be able to pull it off. First, I have to sell my home for a price that will allow me to buy another home in Phoenix. (And the market here isn't too great at this time). If that comes about, then I have to find a place to live in Phoenix. After that, I will have to pack and find someone to move me there.

At this point, I am only on step 1.

(I wonder what my future will be…..? Que sera, sera.)

    • Thank you! That is so sweet. I saw your post this morning about the award. I haven’t answered it yet because I haven’t been accepting awards, but for yours, I am going to give it some thought. I’m not sure I want to get involved in that much work. Thank you very much for your kind remarks about me and my blog. I think very highly of you.

      • You’re welcome. The last thing I want to do is give you lots of work. I won’t be offended if you choose not to accept. I love getting these awards but they are hard work and are a responsibility.

        • I’m sorry if I made you feel like you were giving me a lot of work. I didn’t mean it that way at all. I thought it was very very sweet of you. One thing is, I don’t know how to put those badges on my blog. (I’m technology challenged. HaHa)
